Our infant/toddler room is licensed for 8 children ages 6 weeks to 24 months. There are two wonderful teachers in the classroom that will provide your infant with loving, nurturing care. The room is full of bright vivid colors to capture your infant's attention and to help stimulate their brain development. There are a variety of toys offered for the infants and toddlers to explore through touch, sound, sight, and taste.
Each infant receives plenty of individual time and attention. We introduce our infants to language through the use of music in the classroom, teachers talking and interacting with them, and stories being read to them. We also introduce our infants to sign language as early as five months. We work with the infants on tummy time each day to help with their large motor development. Teachers work with, in partnership with parents, to maintain continuity between home and school.

Our toddlers are introduced to new activities to capture their attention including sensory experiences, blocks, pushing toys, puzzles, and music. Our toddlers will acquire many new skills such as drinking out of a sippy cup, feeding themselves, sleeping on a cot, and picking up their toys. Sign Language is continued for the toddlers to help reinforce language skills. Toddlers also have daily circle time to help them learn basic concepts such as counting, ABC's, shapes, animals, and colors. We encourage our toddlers to explore their world around them.
Parents are informed of their child's day through an individualized daily form and daily communication with their child's teacher.

"We have recently signed our son Drew up for kindergarden, and when we went for the screening test, he did not have even one area to work on. The teachers who performed the screening were very impressed and wanted to know where he attended pre-school. We were proud to tell them about Doodlebee! Thanks to Mandy and the teachers at Doodlebee, Drew is more than prepared for school. Thanks Doodlebee Learning Center!!" --Adam and Lucy "My daughter absolutely loves the staff at Doodlebee and they provide a wonderful playing and learning environment for the children they watch. They do far more than simply watch the kids; She really is learning a lot and I feel perfectly comfortable with everyone there, they treat her like family and I know she is well cared for. I looked into many daycare centers for my child and there has never been a doubt or question that Doodlebee was the best choice we could have made." --Elaina & Joshua "We are just thrilled with the center. Our 2 year old has been attending just over a year now, and he has learned so much! He is on the same level as most 3 year olds, and even some 4 year olds!! I give all the credit to Doodlebee and the teachers!!" --Heather "We are very happy with our choice to send our kids to Doodlebees. The teachers are so involved and you can tell they genuinely care about the children. There are so many extra activities outside of school. It really is like one big happy family. My kids absolutely love it there. I would highly recommend Doodlebees!" --Erin "We are so lucky to have our daughter at Doodlebee. The kids all get along and play so well together while learning too. Our daughter loves it and always surprises me with what she knows. We are so happy with Doodlebee that our second child will be joining them soon too! We also love the family nights when we can interact with the kids and get to know all the parents as well. What a great idea." --Gail & Bob "I love the center. My daughter asks to see Ms. Mandy even on the weekends. The center is very clean and the children learn a lot. My daughter can do her ABC's up to G which wasn't something she was able to do before. Thank you". --Jessica "We love the teachers so much that we left one center to be with them. The hours are great and the exterior/interior are very kid-friendly. I trust my kid's safety completely with these ladies". --Sheri "Andrew loves going to daycare. It is never a fight or struggle to get him to go to Doodlebee. We switched to Doodlebee because of the wonderful staff. They treat Andrew and the other children as if they are their own." --Lucy "Doodlebee Learning Center is a great place for our two-year old son Riley to grow and interact with other children his age. The teachers work closely with the kids educating them with language, numbers, colors and writing. The meals are nutritious and the center is always clean. Riley looks forward to seeing his friends and we enjoy hanging his artwork on our fridge. We thoroughly trust the staff at Doodlebee and Riley's well-being at the center. Thank you Doodlebee!" --Karin & Brian "Love this daycare! I have been through so much trying to find a place for my two sons. My son requires a lot of extra attention-- receives speech and developmental therapy, and they are fabulous about trying new objectives and encouraging sign language as well as logging progress. Fabulous, and very upbeat, happy, and safe center." --Michelle |
